I always thought having a platform where backpackers could apply for exchanges, in advance, was what they /we needed.

I then remembered how we used to get exchanges.

You ask the owner.

It was simple back then. Less technology. Less social media.

But times change. So on my first go (prototype) I created a platform with two functions: profile and messaging. That's it. You can find it here.

Now in 2026, I see things have changed again.

Backpackers using platforms are loosing out to backpackers who apply on social media and in person. They're able to respond to new posts and get into conversation much quicker.

As a result, I stripped away even more, leaving one primary function: an application generator that sends messages via three native platforms.
