Isn’t this the same as Creator Exchanges? Absolutely not, it’s my latest feature💡. Creator Exchanges are for full-time creators. But what if you’ve literally just become a travel creator? You only have a few posts, your followers are your mates, and your portfolio is empty.

Usually, influencers would win all the opportunities 🦁. So, I designed Content Exchanges to level the playing field. It’s not about brand deals or how many followers you have; but the content you make.

How it works 

Unlike hostel or creator exchanges, this doesn’t require you to commit to a specific block of time. It’s "play as you go", content-for-perks 🤝.

It’s a quick way to get rewarded. It’s a simple trade: one post for one perk 🎁.

Use the tool I built to submit a claim request from the hostel after your content goes live. You invite the hostel as a collaborator on Instagram only after they submit a promo code for you to receive a free stay or a discount 🎟️.

The differences to Hostel and Creator Exchanges:

• 🕒 No time commitment: You don’t have to stay for a week or work set hours. You stay, you create, you post, you get the perk. 

• ✅ No application: You don’t have to "apply". 

• 🤳 Complete freedom: Reels, photos, carousels—it’s all good. Post what you want, when you want. 

• 🔙 Backdate your rewards: This is the best part. You can use content you posted months ago. If you posted a video of a night out at a hostel three months back, you can use the tool to claim a perk on it now. 

Who is this for? 

• 🧐 Established Creators: You want to test which of your posts actually resonate with businesses so you can double down on what works. 

• 🤩 Aspiring Creators: You’re ready to go full-time but need more posts and collabs.

• 😛 Newbie: You only have a few hundred followers and aren't even sure you're "good" at this yet. Use this to test your creator skills.

Why bother?

Aside from lowering your travel costs, use it to get an indication of what content type you should focus on. If a hostel is willing to give you a free stay for a post, it means your work and that post style is valuable. There’s no limit to how many you can do. You can do this for your entire trip. 🗺️

How to get started

Once you’ve posted your content on Instagram, you send the URL to the hostel through my tool 📱. They can then send you a bespoke promo code (either for a 100% free stay or a 50% discount) to use on their booking system 💳.
